This release brings some really exciting changes.
Caveat regarding numbers
We are currently upgrading how we perform our calculations to make the system scaleable and more responsive. For the time being this may mean that some of the numbers on the dashboards may be out by small margins. We will keep everyone appraised as to how this progresses and it shouldn’t take us too long.
Menu Changes
We have made some changes to how the menu is structured. This should make it a lot easier for administrators to understand what functionality they are unlocking for other team members when they assign functional roles.
The menu is now split up according to functional role:
Company
Standard
Manager
Admin
Each of these corresponds with an assignable functional role in the manage users section and, when the role is assigned the pages will unlock.
This also means that pages will no longer have functionality that appears/disappears based on functional roles. Either you have access to the page, or you do not.
New Functional Role
As you may have seen above we have added the functional role of “company” which is intended to be for pages with company level data/company level oversight.
Split Performance Pages
We have split up the performance page into a “My Performance Page” which is accessible to standard users and only shows the individual their personal performance; and a Performance Page which is intended for Managers and allows the manager to view through the eyes of other team members.
Invoicing Performance Page
We have re-formatted this page to allow managers to view through the eyes of any number of individual users, as opposed to only being able to aggregate by matter type.
Invoicing My Performance Page – viewable by individual
The invoicing for the My Performance page now shows the individual how much of their billable fees were converted to invoices; handy for those organisations that KPI their Fee Earners based on Invoiced billables instead of simple billable hours.
New Page: Company Dashboard
We are pleased to introduce the first iteration of our company dashboard! This includes some high level trend data you can use to review high level company performance.
- Collected trends – this shows you your aggregated collected totals by month over any time period you have selected.
- Invoiced trends – this shows you your aggregated invoiced totals by month over the same time period
- New matters and new clients – this shows new work coming in and any new referrals/clients who have had opened matters within the time period specified.
We intend to also release drillable cards and some participant and matter type overlays of the data to assist in interpretation.
We have big plans for this page, so we would love some feedback.
Bugs Fixed
We fixed a bug where the contact us form wasn’t working
Fixed a bug where the trend lines on the Performance page weren’t updating for managers who switched viewing between individuals or time periods.
Internal release
We have also worked on improving the initial sync for new organisations joining Workzilla, making it more efficient and cutting down on both time to value and also how many times the process may stall due to Actionstep throttling.
