Teams 

The much awaited Teams functionality has just been released which will allow you to create teams and then restrict data visibility to Team Only for any individual. 

If you are an admin you will see a new menu item called “Manage Teams”. On that new page you will be greeted by the option to create a new team. There is no limit to the number of teams you can have in one organisation. 

Adding team members 

When creating a team you can add any team member to the team, even if they are already in another team. 

If someone has already been added to a team you will see an icon next to their name, indicating that they are on a team. Hovering over the icon will let you know which teams they already belong to. 

You can filter the list of potential team members by excluding team members already in a team or by including inactive team members. You may wish to add inactive team members for retro-active reporting. 

You can add a team member in the following ways: 

  • Double clicking the name 
  • Clicking the “add” button 
  • Searching for their name and hitting enter 

Adding a Team Leader 

At present, adding someone as a team leader does not confer any additional reporting or functionality to that user. It will display their name on the team card and that’s it for now. However, we plan to use this functionality in the future and we thought we’d add it in so you can create the teams once. 

Once the team is complete and you’ve named it you can save it and now it will show up in your manage teams admin page. 

Setting someone to ‘Fellow Team Members’ for data visibility 

To make it so that someone can only see the data for their team members, an no one else, we’ve added a new data visibility selection. 

Goto the Manage Users admin page and, under data visibility you will now see the additional selection “Fellow Team Members”: 

This will restrict their vision. Example: if the user is set as a manager in the functional access settings and is also set to ‘fellow team members’, when using the Manager Performance page the only people in their team member drop down will belong to their team. The only figures that will be reporting in that page will belong to their team. 

This ensures that you have total control over what your users can and cannot see. 

Performance by Collected 

We have finished the Performance by Collected portions of both the personal and ‘manager’ performance pages. This is now available for use and we’d love your feedback. 

We’ve also tweaked the design on these pages to make it a little easier to switch between views. 

Enhancements to Company Dashboard 

We’ve tweaked the design of the company dashboard experimental “show matter types” feature. Please give it a go and let us know if it’s better/easier to use! 

Enhancement to Unrealised Cashflow page 

We have changed the participant type filter on the unrealised cashflow page to include your most commonly used participant types (for staff members).
