We have completed another round of updates on the budget feature.
Month and Quarter support
When reviewing budgets for an individual, if the budget was set over a period less than a year, the yearly chart will be split, showing the quarterly or monthly progress the individual made toward their budget. It will also tell you how often they hit their budget over the course of the year.
Easier to read gant chart on budget edit screen
We have also updated the gant chart while creating/editing a budget to make it a bit easier to see which is the saved budget and which is the budget being edited (we have a lot more to do on this, we know).
New colours in budget review
We have instituted colour support on the budgets – when someone has more than one budget of different types (for instance; someone might be KPI’d on personal timesheeted billable fees and invoiced fees on matters for which they are responsible lawyer) you will now see those in different colours, making it easier to read.
Rename budgets to whatever you would like
We have also added the ability to rename budgets system wide. Simply click the pencil next to “budgets” and rename the field. This is for those clients who would prefer to call them targets.
