Company Dashboard – Participant Breakdown

We have added the ability to break down the data on the company dashboard by Participant type.

This follows on from our experimental feature breaking the data down by matter type, which has now been finalised with a redesign which we hope you will love as much as we do.

The participant types in the list populate dynamically from the most used participant types in your Actionstep firm and so should be useful for splitting revenue contribution.

Company Dashboard – Date selection

We have changed the date selection to include custom fields. Using the pre-selection will now set the field to the beginning of the selection criteria month and will auto-populate the custom dates. If you then want to tweak the dates you can and the system will auto-detect that you have moved to a custom field selection.

The drop down can now be seen as an ‘easy’ selector, as opposed to the only way to change the data. This will allow users to look at data deeper in the past than was previously available.

Company Dashboard – Fixed a bug

In testing we noticed that some of the cards weren’t matching the charts. We have investigated the issue and have pushed a fix out today and we are now confident in the fidelity of all information in the company dashboard.

Performance screens

In the billable hours tab we have made the “Matters Worked On” card clickable to generate the underlying report.

We have also added better support for non-billable matters. Clicking in the matter type drop down you will see the list broken into two: billable and non-billable. You can more easily capture only billable matters this way by ‘selecting all’ next to billable or non-billable. We hope this enriches the data.

Removed “Missing”

After several requests we have removed the “missing” data from the performance screens. In User Acceptance Testing with many clients it was proving to do more harm than good and so we have responded by simply removing it.

Teams – Team Leader support

When you are creating teams and you select a team leader we now check if the team leader has the right functionality and data visibility access to be able to review team performance. If they do not we prompt the admin with a pop up and this allows them to one click set the correct permissions without needing to navigate to the manage users section.

We have also added a ‘back to teams’ button on the team creation screen as we wanted to enhance navigation.
