Hi everyone,
We’ve had a great amount of since the last release notes, including attending Smokeball’s Spark Conference which was an absolute blast.
What’s new in the software:
Workzilla Google Extension
We have a new Chrome and Edge extension which is in the process of being published to the respective extension “stores”. The extension will allow you to receive pertinent notifications even outside of Workzilla, set up at your discretion. We are going to be adding functionality to this overtime and we are really excited about the potential of how we can use this to bring real value in the future.
Team Efficiency – Stagnation Report
We have included our first Team Efficiency measurement with a Stagnancy Dashboard. This can be found under Management > Team Efficiency. Note this is only our first iteration of this concept and we are already working on version two with a lot more customisation options and the ability to view multiple different charts for multiple rules in the same org.

Included in this early access version of the dashboard the default rule is: If a matter is open AND has not had at least one of the following actions completed in the last 30 days, then it is counted as stagnant: Time Entry Created, Stage/Step Change, Status Change (and Task Completed for Actionstep users – Smokeball will soon follow with task completed).
If those rules do not really fit your firm you can edit the default rule by swapping in and out the key actions and changing the time between actions under Administration > Company Customisation

Included in this release is a new test UX feature on the stagnation dashboard which is clickable bar charts. If you click on the bar chart you will see some info slide in from the right which breaks down the data for you. Please play around with it and let us know what you think and if you’d like us to roll this out to other charts.
Billing Options
We have changed our billing options! We now allow firms to select billing terms of Monthly, Quarterly, 6 months or 12 months with price breaks at the longer term options.
In response to many requests to be able to only pay for some people in the organisation, this change includes the ability to select the number of seats you would like to pay for which can then be assigned to users via the Manage Users feature.

Notifications
We have included a notification system. This system is bare bones at the moment, mostly being used to warn of any sync issues which can crop up from time to time as systems cycle. We plan to allow users greater flexibility and control over their notifications moving forward and it’s a really exciting design space for us to deliver real value to you guys. So, watch this space.
