Set up working days for a staff member

⏱ 1 minute Administrator Manage Users Administration Configuration Targets Leave

Steps to set employment status and working days for a staff member in Workzilla.

What you'll have at the end Employment status and working days are saved against the staff member and will be used to pro-rata targets and leave adjustments accurately.
  1. 1
Navigate to Administration > Manage Users
  2. 2
Click the staff member's name to open their profile
Location data on this screen comes from your practice management software and cannot be edited in Workzilla.
  3. 3
    No existing status
Select Full-time or Part-time from the Current employment status dropdown and select their working days
For part-time staff, select only the days they work. This tells Workzilla which days to account for when adjusting targets for public holidays and leave.
  4. 4
    Existing status present
Click the dropdown to open the employment status history modal and add a new entry
Select the new status, choose the working days, set a start date, and click Add. The entry inserts itself into the history in chronological order. Click Save changes when done.
Working days are saved and will be used to pro-rata targets from the relevant start date. For example, if a staff member works Monday and Tuesday only and a public holiday falls on Monday, Workzilla will adjust their target accordingly if public holidays are set to Reduce.
