Offboard a staff member

How to remove a staff member's access to Workzilla when they leave the firm, while keeping their data available for reporting.

What you'll have at the end

The staff member's access is revoked, their seat is freed up, and their historical data remains visible in reporting.

Revoke access in your Practice Management Software
This step is outside Workzilla. Follow your firm's standard process for removing the staff member's access to your Practice Management Software (PMS) before proceeding.

Go to Administration > Manage Users

Locate the staff member in the list

Click Revoke in the Action column
The Revoke button is shown in red. Clicking it immediately removes the staff member's access to Workzilla and frees up their seat for a new invitation. Data from the PMS can take up to 24 hours to fully reflect the change.

Confirm the staff member no longer appears as active
To view their historical data in reports, select "Show inactive staff members" on the Performance page, Unrealised Cashflow page, or Manage Teams page.

The staff member's access has been removed and their seat is available. Their data remains accessible in reporting for as long as it is needed.
